  • PhD project in conjuction with The University of Århus. Title: “To Identify Significance of Teacher Cognition in Teaching English Speaking and Vocabulary in Grade 8 in The Faroe Islands, and its Impact on Pedagogic Praxis.”

Other Achievements
  • Designed and taught an ELT course for Higher Secondary teachers in feb 2014 through Nám.
  • A member of the Committee that designed a new curriculum for English Language Teaching (ELT) from grade 4 in the local school to the ‘A’ level in the Higher Secondary schools in 2008- appointed by MMR.
  • Was mentor for colleagues taking practical pedagogy- appointed by MMR.
  • Was member of the working group for integration of foreigners appointed by the Ministry of the Interior (Innlendismálaráðið).
  • Was project manager for the ‘gymnasiale’ project in Føroya Handilsskúli.
  • Designed and taught a course in English for the banking staff, nurses and medical secretaries.
  • Translate diverse academic and non-academicdocuments from Faroese to English.
  • Have published a few of my poems.
